PICAYUNE (WLOX) -- A scientist from Picayune says he has the answer to eliminating formaldehyde problems in FEMA trailers and Mississippi Cottages. Dr. B.C. Wolverton has spent more than 30 years as a civilian scientist with the military and NASA. He says certain plants will take away the formaldehyde danger. Action Reporter A.J. PICAYUNE (WLOX) -- Could houseplants solve the formaldehyde problems in FEMA trailers? A Picayune scientist says plants and the unique planter he invented can remove dangerous chemicals from the air. Last night, Action Reporter A.J. Giardina introduced us to Dr. B.C. Wolverton and his air filtering Eco-planters. But so far, government officials have chosen to ignore the possible solution. A.J. finds out why.
